The H&W Earth Heritage Trust has a large collection of walking trails across the two counties of Herefordshire and Worcestershire (locations shown on the map below). These are geological trails of various lengths that are maintained and supported with Explore trail guides, which are available to purchase through our website, on the online shop here.

These attractive laminated guides have received excellent reviews and been well received by the public. The series of trail guides now has 26 publications, as well as the Geopark Way Guide and the Frome Valley Discovery Guide. They look at building stones, landscape and geology of locations within the two counties.

They are written in a friendly manner and can be understood by anyone with an interest in geology and also include details for those who like to delve a little deeper into the subject. Some of the guides based on city and town centres can be followed at a gentle pace where as others are better suited for more experienced walkers and require stout footwear. Details regarding parking, refreshments, availability of toilets, maps and any other special requirements are given within each guide.

Below you will find a full list of the Explore trail guides available and over the coming months we will be showcasing a different trail guide so you can learn more about the wonderful landscape and geological features across Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
