Spring has definitely arrived and with it the first frogspawn in our ice age ponds. We are now looking forward to getting out surveying and visiting the Ice Age Ponds again.
Ice Age Ponds Project Conference
We were thrilled to have a fabulous turnout, both in-person and online, for our Ice Age Ponds conference. With excellent guest speakers talking about Ice Age Ponds, Ponds as a Carbon Sink and the future of pond conservation funding and talks about some of our project findings – including the geophysics and water testing results. There was also a chance to see our (not quite finished) project film too.
This is our first time offering a hybrid conference, and we did have some hiccups trying to bring it all together, so thank you to everyone for your patience and we are sorry if some of the sound issues weren’t resolved. We did try, and hope that people managed to enjoy the talks anyway.
For those who couldn’t make the day, or struggled with sound problems or just want to do it all again, all of the talks, handouts and information available on the day will be uploaded to the ice age ponds project pages over the next week or so to be enjoyed at your leisure so please do take a look.
